Indonesian workers plan next steps after general strike

Following on from last week's successful general strike, workers have vowed not to be intimidated by attacks by right wing thugs which resulted in workers being hospitalised. This strike was a political and organisational test for many of the new independent trade unions that have been formed in the last few years. Many workers have now seen the power that we have as a class and are determined to keep organising and fighting in their quest for better working and living conditions.
