Protest March: Saturday 13 February, 2pm @ MAYSAR 184 Gertrude St Fitzroy. Supporters of Aboriginal rights will mark the second anniversary of Kevin Rudd's apology to the Stolen Generations by marching from the MAYSAR gym (Melbourne Aboriginal Youth, Sport and Recreation) on Gertrude St, Fitzroy to Parliament House.

Sunday 14 February: International Justice For TJDay - Memorial & Speak Out

On the 6th anniversary of the day TJ Hickey was impaled on a fence while being chased by Redfern Police. You are invited to honour his memory, continue the struggle to stop all deaths in custody and demand an end to the practice where police misconduct is investigated internally by police. Support Gail Hickey who will lodge a complaint with UN Human Rights Committee seeking findings that Australia is in breach of its human rights obligations in failing to independently investigate TJ Hickey's death.

Assemble on the steps of the Fitzroy Town Hall, Napier Street, Fitzroy, 10:15 am. Then march on the Fitzroy Police station. Wear red, yellow & black if possible. Bring flags, banners & placards.
