Workers at Thai Rayon textile factory voted for the first time in the company’s 39 year history to walk off the job following deadlocked CBA negotiations between the union and management. The union, which is an affiliate of IndustriALL, is demanding to increase the minimum living wage and is fighting for bonus pays. In response, the company has offered to slash all of the benefits that were won during the 2010 CBA negotiations. The dispute continues.
