This week another large rally was held in Seoul against the government’s attack on workers’ right to organise and against privatisation. The fight against privatisation has been particulary felt in the railway and health sectors. Following on from their mobilisations against privatisation of the country’s railway system, railway workers are now being victimised by their employer. In the meantime, unionists like Kim Jungwoo are in jail for the ‘crime’ of being a labour organiser.
