Mr. Kumara is one of the founding members of the Platform for Freedom in Sri Lanka and has collaborated with civil society organisations and trade unions across the country to give voice to those who wanted to express disagreement against oppressive government policies. A public forum in Melbourne Australia will be held to discuss issues of human rights in Sri Lanka.
