In a decision handed down earlier this week, Somyot Prueksakasemsuk was denied bail for the 15th time by the Thai Appeals court. The statement of the court stated that it had ‘… made the decision that the case is concerned the peace of the nation and substation ground effect the moral and public orders; it is serious crime and the court of first instance been sentenced 10 years in prison. For the mentioned reasons, the Court insists on not granting the bail because it’s firmly anticipated that the defendant would abscond.’ We will not give up.
