Han Sang gun, the president of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) has received worldwide support for defending workers’ rights in South Korea. The South Korean government is trying to crush the workers’ movement by jailing Han, and a number of other labour activists, for many years. This is not the first time that Han has been jailed for his labour activities. Han Sang-gyun is not a criminal, he is a working class hero. Workers all around the world are facing increasing repression and we must co-ordinate our global fightback to link these struggles together, and win.
