Following on from the Global Day of Action for airline workers, and ongoing international pressure, the Turkish government has withdrawn a ban on strikes in the country’s civil aviation sector. Nevertheless, the union concerned, Hava-Is, is still fighting to get 305 of its members re-instated. In addition, the Turkish government is about to legislate a new round of anti worker laws.
