Flinders Street station, Melbourne
A fascist group had called a rally in Melbourne against immigrants and against Islam.
A coalition of left groups, community groups and unions organised a powerful rally in the same day and place to stop the racists. The anti racist rally was sucessful. Some fascists came, but they could not rally and they soon left. The anti racist rally was very well attended, with many speeches and rap music. The anti racist rally concluded with a short march through the centre of Melbourne.
Thank you to all the people who came to the rally, to the organising groups, endorsers and supporters who sent solidarity messages.
