Iran Solidarity Melbourne is once again participating in a national day of protest to coincide with the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Brutality, violations of human rights and injustice occur in Iran today on a level unprecedented in modern Iranian history. The latest example of this has been the wave of executions that have been carried out against Iranians by the repressive Islamic Republic. Already at least 49 people have been executed in 2011.
As a result Iran Solidarity Melbourne will be participating in a national day of protest outside the Iranian Embassy in Canberra on Thursday 10th of February 2011 at 1.00 pm – 25 Culgoa Circuit, O’Malley ACT 2606
