In early April, two left wing activists and leaders of the People’s Struggle Movement in Sri Lanka, Mr. Premakumar Gunaratnam and Ms. Dimithu Attigalla ‘disappeared’. Mr. Gunaratnam’s case became international news because he is an Australian national. While at first denying any knowledge, the Sri Lankan government has now become totally implicated by the statements of Mr. Gunaratnam and Ms. Attigalla.
