Earlier this month, the Korean Workers Compensation service approved payment for the death of Ms. Jisook Kim. Ms. Kim died from aplastic anaemia after working 6 years on the assembly line at the Onyang factory that produces semi conductors.
Workers believe that this is only the start of many other such incidents as there is a history of ill health and cancers among Samsung production line workers.
