Not only do workers suffer under poor economic conditions, but attempts at organising are met with heavy repression. Many workers are currently in Iranian prison for the sole crime of organising. The 5th of November was marked as a day of solidarity with imprisoned Iranian workers with demonstrations in many countries around the world.
