It is apparent that the government has now begun targeting protest organisers with arrests in a number of cities and the revelation that it is checking social media sites in an attempt to identify people. The government is also trying to whip up xenophobia by targeting non Turkish nationals as well as blaming foreign conspirators. The working class movement in Turkey will have to brace itself for more attacks.
