Following on from the killings and repression earlier this year, and the international day of action in solidarity with Cambodian workers in February, garment workers have now organised a ban on overtime work. The workers are fighting for justice for their murdered comrades, the release of all imprisoned workers, better working conditions and a living wage. The garment and clothing sector is a global industry and with similar struggles faced by workers in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, an organised and co-ordinated international response by workers is the way forward.
